About fifteen minutes from Hôtel Classique, the ExpoCité district concentrates the city’s largest gatherings: concerts, hockey, trade shows and agricultural fairs. Centre Vidéotron: Quebec City’s main arena

Centre Vidéotron hosts the international headliners passing through Quebec City as well as Quebec Remparts games in the QMJHL. It is by far the largest venue in the city.

A Remparts game is one of the most authentically Québécois outings available — and one of the most affordable. The season runs from September to March.

ExpoCité: the largest event site in Eastern Canada

Centre Vidéotron sits within the wider ExpoCité site in the Limoilou district, which draws roughly two million visitors a year. It hosts Expo Québec, trade shows, fairs and a steady stream of public events throughout the year.

For exhibitors and out-of-town trade-show visitors, highway access from Sainte-Foy is direct and hotel parking is free — two details that simplify a long day on the show floor considerably.

Méga Parc at Galeries de la Capitale

At 5401 boulevard des Galeries, Méga Parc is a fully indoor amusement park built into Galeries de la Capitale. It features eighteen rides and attractions including a Ferris wheel, a roller coaster, an ice rink and a large arcade.

Galeries de la Capitale itself covers more than a million square feet and houses the largest IMAX screen in the country. It is the definitive fallback on a rainy day or during a deep freeze.

Planning your evening from Sainte-Foy

From boulevard Laurier, allow about fifteen minutes via Autoroute Laurentienne. Have dinner at the hotel before you leave, then return without hunting for parking. For shows that end late, that difference matters.

If you are in town for a multi-day trade show at ExpoCité, the same logic applies across the whole stay. Sainte-Foy puts you outside the event-day traffic while keeping the site fifteen minutes away, and boulevard Laurier gives you somewhere to eat and unwind that is not the convention floor.
